Nearly two-thirds of organizations are still modernizing their digital workplaces, but many of these efforts will not meet employees’ needs. According to Gartner’s DEX Blueprint to Mature Your Digital Workplace Strategy, by 2025, over 70% of digital employee experience (DEX) initiatives will fail to deliver tangible impact due to a lack of alignment between business and IT leaders over expected outcomes.
As organizations transform their digital workplaces, they must be mindful of creating an environment of positive productivity. A key Gartner recommendation is that organizations focus on human-centric design based on employee personas and critical user journeys.
