Orange Business Services announces the signature of a contract with Euro Disney Associés S.C.A., operator
of Disneyland® Resort Paris. Under the terms of this contract, Orange Business
Services will be responsible for replacing the entire PABX infrastructure, which
represents a total of 15,000 phone lines. This will involve the financing, integration,
operation and maintenance of the infrastructure by a dedicated team over a 6-year
period. All fixed line, mobile and international call centre traffic contracts
have also been renewed for a period of 30 months.
This new agreement builds on the ongoing relationship between the two companies:
Orange has been one of Euro Disney Associés S.C.A.’s twelve strategic partners
since 1992.
In order to meet this particular demand, Orange Business Services has called
upon its “Large Projects” entity specialized in the management of large-scale
ICT projects. The Large Projects’ mission is to deliver and manage complex large-scale
projects involving convergence or IP transformation for example. Large Projects
accompanies the customer through the entire project life cycle, based on a flexible
and global approach which incorporates the entire range of Orange services, as
well as services provided by partners or third party suppliers.
With the turnkey solution proposed by Orange Business Services, Euro Disney Associés
S.C.A. will benefit from:
- a solution tailored to different user contexts which makes it possible to establish
7 workstation profiles based on employee use. With the introduction of these profiles,
Euro Disney Associés S.C.A. will be able to provide tailor-made services to its
hotel staff and mobile employees by equipping them with mobile phones or softphones,
and also meet the needs of administrative and technical departments;
- new high-tech services providing fixed/mobile convergence based on mobile extension
which is more employee-friendly and boosts efficiency. From now on, employees
will have access to a unified messaging service and will be more easily reachable
thanks to a dual calling function to their fixed line and mobile phone.. They will also benefit from having all PABX functionalities on their mobile phone;
- a unique customer services unit made up of a dedicated team available on-site
at all times and responsible for implementing and managing the entire network.
Large Projects Management at Orange Business Services
In a context of profound changes in the telecommunications’ world and at a time
when the transition to IP has become a priority, Orange Business Services has
launched its large projects management offer, specifically dedicated to the management
of large-scale ICT projects. At Orange Business Services, Large Projects means
“large-scale projects involving several solutions or requiring external partners”.
These projects are long-term in nature and involve transformation programs: these
can take the form of a technological migration - migration to IP telephony, for
example - or they can be on a more organisational level, particularly accompanying
the customer in transforming its ICT infrastructure and process following a merger
for example.
Orange Business Services supports companies throughout the lifecycle of the project:
assessment of business requirements, drafting the specifications, delivering the
end-to-end solution and managing it through-out the life-cycle of the contract.
Large Projects is already managing more than forty large projects, both within
France and at an international level.
